Join us in building energy sovereignty for Rosebud
About

Rosebud Energy Service Company (RESCO) is a tribally owned entity of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. We are dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions, reducing grid problems, and creating sustainable opportunities for our people.
Our approach combines modern renewable energy practices with traditional Lakota values, ensuring a future where community, land, and energy are in balance.
Mission Statement
Resolving Rosebud’s energy, power, and grid problems with resilient energy practices, encapsulating our holistic Lakota Values ~ Mitakuye Oyasin.

Renewable Energy Projects
RESCO is leading the way in creating clean, reliable, and tribally owned energy systems that align with our Lakota values and vision for self-sufficiency. Our work focuses on designing and implementing renewable energy projects that reduce dependence on outside utilities, lower costs for families, and strengthen the Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s long-term energy sovereignty.

Training Programs
RESCO is committed to building the capacity of our own people by creating hands-on workforce training programs that prepare Tribal members for high-demand careers in renewable energy.
Our goal is to ensure that the clean energy future of Rosebud is built, maintained, and managed by Sicangu Lakota hands — empowering families with new skills, stable income, and long-term opportunities.

Community
At RESCO, we believe that true strength begins at home — in our communities. By developing sustainable energy systems, we are helping the Rosebud Sioux Tribe become more self-reliant, prepared, and resilient in the face of changing weather, rising costs, and unstable energy markets.
